Case study 03 · Client work · Frontend
Two events, two audiences, two distinct experiences — designed to cut the back-and-forth out of event planning.
The problem
Coordinating guests for two separate events — a bachelorette weekend and a bridal shower — meant endless back-and-forth texts, repeated questions, and scattered information. The goal was to give every guest one place to find what they needed and respond, without having to ask.
The users
Each event had a distinct audience and tone. The bachelorette weekend needed to feel fun, energetic, and hype. The bridal shower needed to feel warm, elegant, and easy to navigate for guests of all ages and tech comfort levels. Two sites, two personalities — both had to work on mobile without any friction.
The process
With a friend counting on me and a deadline locked in by the event dates, this was UX under real pressure. I designed each Notion site with a clear information hierarchy — what guests needed to know first, what they needed to do, and how to respond interactively. No fluff, no buried details.
Visual tone was intentional for each event — typography, layout, and content organization all shifted to match the audience and occasion.
The outcome
Both sites launched on time and served as the single source of truth for each event. Guests could find details, RSVP, and get excited — all without a single group chat follow-up needed.
